Erich Kirshner

Erich Kirshner, Senior Consultant Partner

Erich Kirshner is a public relations and marketing professional with experience as a print journalist, hospital and non-profit public relations and marketing manager, and public relations and marketing agency owner. He has been working in the healthcare public relations and marketing fields since 1990.

Erich served as a communications contractor for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s Immunization Section. In this role he helped shape the state’s successful response to the 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic. Erich also played a key role in creating and executing the Immunization Section’s award-winning “Immunize for Good” campaign.

Kirshner has developed a specialty in public health. In addition to the state health department, Erich’s client list has included the Tri-County Health Department, Denver Public Health, Jefferson County Public Health, Center for Improving Value in Health Care, Colorado Health Institute, Colorado Regional Health Information Organization (now Contexture), Telligen and the Colorado Rural Health Center.

Kirshner, who is past president of the Colorado Healthcare Strategy and Management and Colorado Healthcare Communicators professional societies, earned his Bachelor of Science in Journalism from The University of Wyoming. His Master of Science degree in Journalism is from The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
